THE WEATHER.
Mr D. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist, wired last night:—Present indications are for moderate to strong south to south-east, winds. Changeable weather generally, with scattered rainfall. Barometer unsteady, with a tendency to rise in the south and fall in the north.
