PALMERSTON LOANS.
THE BILL PASSED. (By Telegraph—Special to "Times.") WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Palmerston Borough l.oans Consolidated Bill came before the House to-night. The Leader of the Opposition asked for an assurance of the member in charge of the Bill that all the Standing Orders required had been complied with. This was given, and the Bill was then passed through all its stages. This will now enable tlie Council to raise the necessary money for the electric power station and gasworks.
