SYNTHETIC GOLD.

French scientists confirm the scepticism regarding the German claim to making synthetic gold, also the report that Edison is on the eve of discovering a method of transforming lead into gold. M. Chateller, a well-known scientist, when interviewed, said that the reports of the German discovery were a typical swindle in order to trick Germany’s creditors.
