MAIL NOTICE
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. CHRISTMAS DAY (SUNDAY, 25th DECEMBER, 1921). The Post Oilice will be closed in all branches. Mails for despatch by trains leaving Christmas Day and 26th December (Rowing Day) will close on Saturday, 24th December, at 8.30 p.m. All receiving and posting boxes will be cleared at i! p.m. on 24th December, 1921.
Postmen's delivery will be made over the counter of Postmen's Room (entrance from the Square) between 7 and 8 p.m. on 24th December, 1921. Telegraph Office will be open between 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.
BOXING DAY, 26th DECEMBER, 1921. The Post Office will be closed in all its branches. Telegraph Office will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. TUESDAY, 27th DECEMBER, 1921. The Post Office will be open in all branches (except M.O. and 5.8.), from 9 to 10 a.m. The postmen's delivery will commence at 7.30 a.m. One delivery only will be made. Telegraph Office will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight Telephone Exchange will be open continuously. NEW YEAR HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. NEW YEAR'S DAY, SUNDAY, Ist JANUARY, 1922. The Post Office will be closed in all branches. Mails for despatch by trains leaving Ist and 2nd January will close at 8.30 p.m. on 31st December. All receiving and posting-boxes will be cleared at 6 p.m. on 31st December. The Postmen's delivery over the counter of Postmen's Room (entrance from the Square) will be made between 7 and S p.m. on 31st December. Telegraph Office will be open between 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. 2nd JANUARY, 1922. The Post Office will be closed in all its branches. All mails usually despatched on this day will close at 8.30 p.m. on 31st December, 1921. The Telegraph Office will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange will be open continuously.
