Advices from Turin state that the mother of Signorita Bulaleti, who was supposedly among the victims when the Italian steamer Ancona was sub manned in November 1915, has been informed that her daughter was rescued by a Turkish boat and taken to Turkey and sold as a slave. Her relatives vainly attempted to secure her release and arc now appealing to the Queen of Italy to assist them. Later. It has been found that Signorita Bulaleti was handed over to the Sultan of Turkey and is now a favourite wife.
