Five thousand tons of Australian wheat per steamer for India direct were sold at 47/6 per quarter. COMMONWEALTH TO HANDLE IT. MELBOURNE, November 17. Mr W. M. Hughes has received the draft agreement from the Now South Wales farmers, who are availing themselves of the Commonwealth’s offer of 3/ per bushel. The Commonwealth will arrange for a sole selling agcnc> in Great Britain. Commonwealth steamers will be the sole charter mg agents.
