The situation in Moscow is reported to be extremely critical owing to tho complete absence of coal, and the fact that famine is at the door. PARIS, March 14. Tho Kronstadt rebels have beaten back Trotsky’s picked troops, who made repeated attempts to recapture the island. One whole regiment of Reds has crossed the ice to join the rebels. Kronstadt has declared itself an independent Soviet republic. HELSINGFORS, March 13. It is reported that General Budeny’s cavalry was ordered northward, but joined the rebels and assisted in capturing Orel. ROME, March 13. M. Vorowski, the now Soviet Ambassador, has arrived, but the Czar’s former representative remains to hand over the Embassy. COPENHAGEN, March 14. Riga advices state that Trotsky is binging up heavy howitzers to Oranionbaum, which has been made the base from which the Bolsheviks will attack Kronstadt. The men at the aviation station at Kolssov attempted to join the rebels, and it is reported that 44 of the men were executed. Trotsky asserts that the Lettish, Finnish and Esthonian sailors are responsible for the rebellion. RIGA, March 13 The Russian Poland Peace Conference has decided that Poland’s share ot Russia’s gold be thirty million gold roubles, plus a similar sum in respect of the rolling stock remaining in Poland. RIGA, March 15. Advices from Moscow state that the Caspian fleet has revolted, and tho Bolshevik commissaries were thrown overboard.
