MARTON SHOW.
ENTRIES CLOSE FEBRUARY 15. The Marion District A. and P. Association’s ninth animal show will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 1921, and there is every promise of this fixture being a great success. A number of exhibitors have promised to bring their stock along for competition. The jumping competitions form a big attraction, for in addition to the Maiden, Open, and Ladies’ Jumping Competitions, two new competitions have been added to the catalogue. There is a competition for natives only who have never ridden a winner at an A. and P. Show, also the Pryce Hunters’ Jumping Competition, for horses that have not won more than two open jumping competitions at an A. and P. Show. All the jumping competitions are richly endowed. The cattle, horse, sheep, and dog classes have been arranged with a view to attracting large entries. New sections have been added for art and technical schools and public schools, the latter including drawing in pencil from the natural object and the fashioned object for Standards I. to VI., and five classes for technical and art classes. Entries close on February 15 for all classes, and schedules will bo posted on application to the secretary, Mr A. Way, Box 3, Mar ton.
