MASTERTON SHOW.

The annual show of the Masterton A. and P. Association will be held on the beautiful showgrounds at Solway on February 15th and 16th. Judging by the entries received the display of stock should be one of the finest seen at any autumn show in the Dominion. From the public’s point of view the show should prove most attractive, as special attention has been paid to the ring Nvents. Besides the usual jumping events and vsheep dog trials, there will this year be a polo ball race, which shofuld prove novel as well as entertaining. The train arrangements are such that should suit visitors from the North and South. On the first day the ordinary timetable will be observed. Trains will leave Masterton for Solway at 7.15 a.m., 9.40 a.m., and 6.0 p.m., leaving Solway for Masterton at about 9.25 a.m., 4.45 p.m., and 8.40 p.m. On People’s Day special passenger trains, stopping, if required, at all stations, will run as follows: —For Solway— Cross Creek dep. 9.0 a.m., Featherston 9.35, Carterton 10.15, arrive Solway 10.35 a.m. For Solway.—Woodville dep. 7.55 a.m., Mangatainoka 8.13, Pahiatua 8.25, Eketahuna 9.25, Mauricevllle 9.55, Masterton 10.45 a.m., and 12.30 p.m. Return trains leave Solway as follows: —For Wellington: Solway depart 6.5 p.m. For Cross Creek: Solway depart 5.50 p.m. For Woodville: Solway depart 4.45 p.m., and 5.25 p.m. Those who require information in regard to accommodation, etc., in Masterton during show week, should communicate with the secretary (Mr R.
