Matthews (Hutt), 3 up and 1, Miss E. Brown (Napier) beat Mrs R. M. McLean (Hawera) 6 up and 4, Mrs L. Martin (Palmerston North) beat Miss P. Anderson (Shirley) 4 up and 3, Mrs Widop (Miramar) beat Miss R. Harris (Hagley) 3 up and 2, Miss Gambrill (Miramar) beat Miss M. Wheeler (Miramar) 4 up and 3, Mrs Marchbanks (Wellington) beat Miss M.
