From the meagre details to hand, apparently a charge of gelignite exploded in the house of F. England, a farmer. Mrs England and her child were blown to atoms, and there is no trace of the child. Miss Lilburn, sis-ter-in-law of Air England, also was killed, being blown through a wall. MOTOR FATALITY". (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Laura Ansford, wife of a settler at Omata, died from injuries received in a motor-car accident near here this morning. The car was going- down kill, and swerved to avoid some cattle and' fell over an embankment. Air Ansford was uninjured, but his wife died on her way to the hospital. MOTOR BICYCLE CRASHES INTO CART. (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, Last Night. A young man named Johns, son of the local inspector of factories, while making a trial run on a motor-bicycle to-night, overtook a cart with such force that the machine was smashed, and the rider severely hurt. He was taken to the hospital suffering from a fractured skull and other injuries.
