HOCKEY.

The following will represent High School Old Boys against United, on the sports ground to-day, at 3 p.m.: Barnard, Aitchison, Tucker, Rutherford Kvle, Graham, Biddle, Nielson, McLachian, Cliffe and Barnard. Emergencies—Baker and Brace. The Manawatu Hockey Association met last evening. Mr Kerslake presided. The Poverty Bay Hockey Association wrote, inviting a ladies or men’s team to play in Gisborne, and offering a portion of the proceeds to cover expenses. In view of the fact that Manawatu will play Auckland for the Shield within the next two months, the selectors were instructed to select two teams as early as possible, so that training maybe commenced. It was resolved to notifv all clubs that those whose dues are unpaid by June 19th will be suspended.
