Tlio Public Health Department has instructed that influenza is no longer a notifiable disease. Pneumonic cases or cases of great severity will be notified under their proper medical descriptions. Only one per cent, of the cases recently notified have been selious.’and as every notification carried a fee of 3/6, the recent wave of influenza has cost tltiOO.
