W.C.T.U.
A meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the W.CT.U. was held on Friday afternoon. Mrs Crabb presided. Keen interest is being shown in the Convention which is to be held next week in Wellington, which the president and other delegates are to attend. During the discussion of the forthcoming bazaar, in aid of the proposed Children's Home, members expressed the desire that it should be made clear to the public that the institution organised by the W.CT.U. as '' Willard Hostel," is not now controlled by the W.CT.U., but is being conducted under private auspices.
