MANAWATU TROTTING CLUB GOLD CUP (harness) of 350 sovs (300 sovs, in specie and sold cup valued at 5 0 sovs, presented by G. j Craw, Esq.); second horse to receive 60 sovs and third horse 30 sovs out of stakes. Horses will be handicapped to do 4.52 or better. Nomination 2 sovs, acceptance 5 sovs. Two miles. 5. NORTH ISLAND AMATEUR LADIES' BRACELET HANDICAP, of 100 sovs, first horse to receive 55 sovs anil bracelet valued at 15 sovs, , second horse to receive 15 sovs and I bracelet valued at 5 sovs, and third horse to receive 10 sovs. Horses to be nominated by ladies, and will be handicapped to do 4min. or better. For horses trained by trainers resident in the North Island and owned by owners resident in the North Island at date of nomination and to be driven by North Island amateur drivers. Nomination 1 sov, acceptance 2 sovs. One and a half miles. 6. AWAPUNI HANDICAP (saddle) of 135 sovs, second horse to receive 25 sovs, and third horse 10 sovs out of stakes. PALMERSTON NORTH HANDICAP (harness) of 150 sovs, second horse to receive 30 sovs, and third horse 15 sovs out of stakes. For unhoppled trotters only. Horses will be handicapped to trot 5.S or better. Nomination 1 sov, acceptance 3 sovs. Two miles. S. PRESIDENT'S HANDICAP (harness) of 150 sovs, second horse to receive 30 sovs, and third horse 15 sovs out o;' .takes.
