EXEMPLARY SENTENCE.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Last night. At the Magistrate’s Court, Edward Gregory Barrett was sentenced to three years’ reformative detention for disobeying tlic conditions imposed when accused was convicted in March for theft of his employer’s money. Mr Fra/.cr, S.M., said that he could not allow probation to be played with.
