"REFORM" RESHUFFLE.
PRESSURE ON COATES. (By Telegraph —“Times” Special) WELLINGTON, Last Night. Speculation is rife in the lobbies respecting the identity of the Ministers yet to be appointed. There is now a strong probability that Mr J. G. Coates will reconsider hia decision to stand down. Pressure is being brought to bear on him by the Premier and members with whom he is popular. Mr Massey desires to have a North Auckland member in the Ministry, for geographical reasons. It is likely that the fourth now man will not be chosen for some days. Mr Nosworthy will probably take over tho portfolio of Agriculture, while Mr Hine is almost certain to be associated with Sir James Allen in Defence and Repatriation work. Sir Francis Bell will continue to administer Education for the present. Mr E. Scott has been appointed Senior Whip for the Reform Party, and he will have the choosing of his associates. COATES COMES IN. (Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Last night. Mr J. G. Coates has accepted an office in the Ministry, and Mr E. P. Lee is unable to accept for private reasons.
