KING’S PATRIMONY TAXED. [Aust. and N.Z. Cain* - fssociation.] (Received Tuesday, 8.55 p.m.) ROME, September 1. King Emanuel renounces the buildings attached to Crown lands in favour of institutions for succt uring war sufferers. The King has revolved that his private patrimony shall be subjected to taxation, and he continues to dispense £BOOO to the poor as anticipated that the King’s initiative will have a salutary effect on the eve of the Government’s levy of a compulsory loan.
