SEAMEN’S STRIKE.
TRADES HALL OPTIMISTIC, [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Friday. 11.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Last night. The Trades Hall is optimistic regarding the strike situation. It is believed that negotiations in Melbourne will result in a settlement. The organisations affected are instructing members to hold themselves in readiness to start work c.i Monday.
