CANADIAN STRIKE.
SPREADS TO PRAIRIE PROVINCES. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 27. The New York "Times’ ’’ despatches from Winnipeg state that the strike is not settled yet. All industry is paralysed and tho distribution of food continues only by permission of the strikers. Other despatches state that the trade unions at "Edmonton, Calgary and Regina also arc voting for a general strike.
