NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.

MANAWATU AND WEST COAST AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.

The above attractive feature will commence on June 17th and extend over a period of four days. Many handsome trophies are being offered in connection with the dairy produce section which is always a feature of this big show. Apple growers arc also being specially catered for, a splendid twelveguinea trophy having been donated for the apple championship. In addition to the great machinery display which is invariablv staged at Palmerston North, a number of outside features are to be provided, including the popular intercollegiate football match, dog trials, hunting and competitions, etc. Considerable interest is expected in the amateur photographic competitions and also in the exhibition and sale of purebred cattle. The Manawatu poultry championships are also decided at this show, and the schedule is of a most attractive nature. A special Peace championship certificate to celebrate the “healing of the breach in the fancy” forms one of the many new features.
