ADVERTISING MEMORANDA.
The attention of contratcors is drawn to several contracts advertised by the Akitio County Council. Specifications for each contract are now open for inspection at the “Mauawatu Daily Times ’ ’ office. AUCTION SALES. Messrs Harry Palmer and Co. insert the usual time-table in connection with to-day’s mart sale. Full particulars appeared in yesterday’s “Times.’ The M.A.C. will hold the usual mart sale to-day, commencing at noon. The contents of a five-roomed house, produce of all kinds, harness, gas-stoves, and poultry arc submitted for disposal. Sec page S. The Empire Auctioneering Co. will soli at the mart to-day, commencing at 1.30 p.m.: 100 motor tyres (no reserve), poultry, canaries, produce, fruit, harness motor car, gas-stove, and special consignments of new and second-hand furniture. Details appear on page 8. Mes'srs Mounscy and Co. will sell at the mart to-day at 1 p.m. the contents of a fivc-roorned dwelling, removed to the mart for convenience of sale. As the vendor is leaving for Wellington, everything must be sold.
