The "World's" Washington correspondent reports that Senator Lodge, in an interview concerning peace terms, said: "Pecuniary compensation which must be made to Belgium and other countries which have been destroyed byGermany, must, not only be in money, but in Germany '3 colonies which must be taken from Germany, because they would aid her to develop her navy and commerce, which again might threaten •the peace' of the world.'"
