HINDENBURG'S ADMISSION

GERMANS COULDN'T TIGHT FRENCH ALONE. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Monday, 7.55 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, Nov. 23. Hindenburg has telegraphed from headquarters that the enemy members of the Armistice Commission, especially the French, are showing less courteous behaviour, continually demanding impossibilities, and that probably the French want an excuse to resume the war. Hindenburg warns the German Government that the German army is unable to resume war even against the French alone. He concludes that it is evident the hostile Governments will only conclude peace with a German Government supported by a majority of the people.
