A letter was read from the Second Division League in regard to res nations passed at the last Returned Soldiers’ Association Conference at Auckland. Colonel McDonald thought that the Association should recognise the good that had been done by the Second Division League in regard to securing benefits for soldiers and their dependents. Ho moved accordingly. Mr Haycock seconded and stated that he believed th e resolution passed at Auckland was too condemnatory of the Second Division League and was not justified by the facts. Considerable discussion ensued and finally tho resolution was carried unanimously. Tho following were admitted to membership: —Messrs S. Munro, T. Wall, G. D. Powric, L. S'. Curtis, R. W. Priest, E.
