Hands Across the Sea
i Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.?; (Received Sunday, (5 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 27. A luncheon was tendered to the Australian newspaper men by Mr M. Parsons and also by the Salmagundi Club, at which Mr Dana Gibson presided. The Australians visited the camp at Upton, and inspected the Americans undergoing training. They were entertained at dinner by the Advisory Committee for Foreign Affairs. The speeches emphasised the common interests of Australia and America in the Pacific.
