Bread Riots in Prague I [Aust. and N.Z, Cable Association.] (Received Sunday, 7.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 26. Official despatches from Switzerland state there are further famine revolts at Prague, where no bread has been available since July 7th. GERMAN PRESS ATTACKS KARL. “CLUMSY VIENNA DENIAL.” [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Sunday, 7.20 p.m.) AMSTERDAM,, July 27. It now transpires that the Emperor Karl’s letter also advocated that King Ferdinand of Rumania should join the League of Kings to combat the menace of international revolution. Count Rovcntlow and other German writers doubt the truth of the “clumsy Vienna denial,” and declare that Karl aimed at weakening Germany and eradicating German influence in Rumania.
