F. and T. Service Curtailed
RESTRICTIONS FROM JULY 1
Owing to such a number of its officers being taken for military service, the Post and Telegraph Department announces the following curtailment of services, which will come into effect on July 1. MONEY ORDER AND SAYINGS BANK. This branch will bo open from 30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday inclusive, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Deposits may be lodged as usual on Saturday, from 7 to 8 p.m. " TELEGRAPH. Offices at present closing at 8 p.m. will close at 5 p.m. for public business. All telegraph offices at present observing ordinary attendance after 8 p.m. will close at 8 o’clock for commercial and other ordinary traffic. Registered mails will close half an hour before the ordinary time of closing. Pared mails will close two hours before the time of closing of ordinary mails up till 5 p.m. OTHER CURTAILMENTS. Various other curtailments and restrictions are announced for the closing time of mails and in connection with the clearing of letter boxes.
