The plot is not only clever and convincing, but it works along so naturally that it is most easily followed. It shows how circumstantial evidence is used by a prosecuting attorney to further his ambitions and how his wife (also a lawyer) beats him at his own game to save her brother from prison. Emily Stevens is perfect in her part, and has the assistance of Frank Mills in the heavy part of husband and attorney.
