AUCTION SALES.

Harry Palmer and Co. announce the last day of Carter and Co.'s great drapery sale. There will be an auction sale during the afternoon and the goods will be on sale all the morning and after the sale up till 9 p m. See page 8 giving particulars. Harry Palmer and 'Co. advertise particulars on page S of their mart sale, which will be held at usual today, commencing at 11.30 a.m. Produce, vegetables, pigs, horses, harness, traps, etc., will bo offered; also a quantity of pickles, tomato, sauce, milking machine, separator and a large lot of attractive furniture and sundries will be cleared without reserve. The times at which the various lines will be auctioned are set out in the advertisement. Mounsey and Co. announce that they will conduct an attractive auction sale of high-class household furniture, comprising a beautiful oak bedroom suite, chesterfield lounges and divan chairs to match, sideboards, upright grand piano, high-back suites, and appointments, and a host of other lots too numerous to particularise. The firm commence building operations next week, and their great stock must be reduced immediately. Everything Avill be sold absolutely without reserve. The produce to be offered includes bacon, eggs, tea., etc. At 3 p.m. ladies' and gent's bicycles will be sold.
