The usual monthly meeting of above was "held yesterday. Present:—Trustees E. Wood, P. Garrity, A. Lancaster, W. Pearee and P. Small. CORRESPONDENCE. From Aorangi Land Drainage Board, asking for £ls amount of share for cleaning out outlet re Mr Pearee's contract.—Granted. GENERAL. Trustee Wood reported that Mr Collis and he had inspected drain in Mr Mathieson's property aD' - " *hey had decided to have work done, Mr Mathieson agreeing to pay half cost, £1 10s. The matter of having Main Drain surveyed was left in hands of Chairman with power to act. It was resolved to complain to Rail* way Department re cattle at Longburn causing damage to 's drain and that the Department be asked to pay £IOO re drain at Longburn. Notice by advertisement is to be given that legal proceedings will be taken for recovering all rates not paid by October 31. Accounts for £Bl 16s lid were passed for payment.
