Tn connection with last night's arrest a young Russian mimed Gutsche has been remanded on a charge of attempting to forge Bank of Australasia £1 notes. Bail was fixed at £3OO.
The police stated that accused was an associate of another man, who has not been arrested, while another associate is serving seven years for forg-
ing notes
