The Daily Telegraph's correspondent says that though Count Ok v. ma's suggestion that England and -Japan should commercially ally themselves throughout China undoubtedly has certain unpractical features the hour has sounded "when the scope of the Far Eastern Alliance should be carefully investigated by the contracting parties, and all the possibilities of the doubtful future considered.
