MANAWATU DEFEAT WANG AN CI
Sixteen members of Wanganui Golf Club visited Palraerston on Saturday to play Manawatu. the match resulting in an easy win for the latter by K5 games to three. The three Wanganui players who won their matches were Messrs G. Saunders, A. Lew's and F. W. Parkes. Results (Wanganui being mentioned first in each instance) —J. Harold 0. A. Barraud 1; G. Louisson 1, S. Foreman 0, L. A. Abraham 1. Manawatu players were without the captain (L. Seifert) and A. Strang and it will be noticed that the tail wagged very strongly, the last eight players all winning. On Wednesday Otaki Golf Club are sending up 15 men and six ladies.
