At the half-yearly meeting of the Mount Lyell Company, the Chairman said he anticipated extensive developments and consequently improved results. It was disappointing to have to declare a diveidexul of not more than a shilling, but the board had concluded that , until the comprehensive development scheme was finished, it would not be prudent to encroach on the accumulative profits.
