Matsuo (the retired Vice-Admiral who bribwtl Vice-Admiral Matsiumoto at the request of Tickers \s agents) has been sentenced to three years' penal servitude and ordered to make restitution of 400,50 d yen in connection with the naval scandals. Captain Awasaki was sentenced to a year's imprisonment and to make restitution of 12,500 yen. Commander Suzuki (late chief ordnance instructor at the Naval College) was acquitted.
