Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows: —A good yarding of prime bullocks and sheep came forward, also a line of station calves. All lots were in good demand, and sold well at last sale prices. Quotations: —Heavy bullocks £l2 to £l2 ss, lighter £ll 12s (hi to £ll 15s, light £ll, prime heavy vealers £2 His to £3 3s, lighter £2 (is to £2 lis, prime wethers 23s 5d to 245, light 19s (id to £l, prime heavy ewes 23s Gd, prime ewes 21s Gd, lighter 19s Gd, prime lambs 15s.
STOCK REPORTS. Messrs Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report:—At Raumai on Tuesday, the 20th inst., we offered big vardings of both sheep and cattle. Sheep sold well at late rates, but the demand for cattle was dull, and several lots were unsold. Quotations: —2th wethers !9s (id to 20s 2d, 4 and Syr ewes in lamb 18s (id, lambs 13s 2d to 13s sd, forward empty ewes His 9d, Ismos steers £3 19s, springing cows £5 to £.12, cows just calved £9 2s (id to £l2 ss, fat cows £5 2s (id to £(S 10s, forward cows £3 10s to £4 15s, weaner heifers 31s to £2 ss.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., l'almerston, report having a fair entry of stock at their llunterville sale on Tuesday, the 2<>th ilist., which sold as below:—Cidl lambs 5s !>d, small mixed lambs 12s Id, empty ewes to lis, fat and forward heifers to £5, small 20mos steers to £3 IDs. light fat cows to £G 9s.
