Dolores the Delightful! How her sweet voice, charm, entrances, and thrills! What a pleasure it is to the music-lover when a gifted artiste adds to the words of the poet the music of her voice! What a revelation it is of the power of the divine art to awaken the emotions and touch the soul! In Palmerston Opera House last evening Dolores, a sweet singer with a world-wide reputation, enthralled her hearers with her marvellous voice, and charmed them by the exercise of her art. The programme given displayed her great versatility and her surpassing skill. Columns could be written on the subject on the talent of this great singer, but it is sufficient to say that everyone with a soul for music must have thoroughly enjoyed the treat afforded last eveniug. The delight w r as added to by the skilful and artistic work of her companion. Miss Iris De Cairos-Rego, who is one of the few who can make the piano sing.
