I Wool, sheep, cattle and pigs to the value approximately of £230,000 were sent to the market by rail during the 1!>13-1!)14 period, which is an increase on the previous season of over £43.000. Sheep realised high prices. The nir.n- ---: ber railed away last season totalled I over 122,000, being an increase of 1 53,000 over the previous year. Many j thousand head of stock also "were driven to outside districts. The dairying season now concluding has been most successful.
