The ♦'■ rial of Frank Duggan, William O'Learv and Angus Liamont, for assault on a married woman, with intent to commit rape at Matawai, Gifrborne, on Augast 9, conolnded in the Supreme Court this evening, when all the prisoners were fouud guilty of Indecent assault and of assault with intent to commit hodily I arm. The jury expresse" 1 the opinion t at the police protection in the Matawai district was insufficient.
