Wells (Britain) and Carpentier (France) are matched again at the National Sporting Club for December 8, for a parse of £2OOO and stakes of £SOO SMITH v. BRADLEY MATCH POSTPONED. The Australian light heavy weight ehampion, Dave Smit-i, who was to have met Pat. Bradley at the Sydney StaJiuai last Saturday, was taken ill on tie previous Tuesday night, and developed acuti tonsilitis and quinsy, whicj will keep him in bed for some time. As a substitute against Bra'lley the Stadium management selected Jerry Jerome, the aboriginal boxer. Jerome beat Hairy Manstiel i a fortnight ago, and not long ago put up a game contest against Smith, so that Bradley's performance against him should be a good guide to the letter's chance against the light heavy weight champion.
