AN OPINION. At fie A. and P. meeting yesterday Mr Knight took exception to the pigs being include in the sheep pavilion as seep were liable tt get blood pois n. Several ot er members agreed with Mr Knight Major Dunk explained that tbe pig pens were rotten and the proposal was only f a temporary nature until t ey could erect new pens. Mr Knight said that had he not been a membei of the c u;mittee last year he w uld have refused t) enter :is sheep in the o ow. It was mosr dangerous to have pigs with seep. Mr R S. Abraham favonred information being obtained fr m t e Veterinary Department. Mr Knight said the dcst of a pig's was sufficient to give blood poisoning. They ha nlv to get one case an i t en there would be trouble. Major Dunk said they were met with a threat fr in both siles. Tne pig breeders wanted better accomrnu ation. Tim ol pens could be patohe , but that wodd be hardly satisfactory. Mr Booth siid in Feil Hng they had pens that conl' be moved abo t anywere by a horse, an > why not iiave t' e same here It was res lved that the pigs be kept ont of t e sheep pavilion unless it is used for igs always, an that the Gr und Committee be instructed to provide temporary accommodation this year for pigs.
