Napier road oulvert -The matter was referred to the Public Works Committee to deal with. From the Engineer of Raliways atating that he could not agree to tue proposal to onload coal opposite the gasworks, especially in view of the rearrangement of the yard whioh was in sig'-t.—The letter was referred to the directors of the gas works to oonfer with the Council if they considered it advisable.
