The Olympic Committee Has earmarked a" portion of the f >nrt to enable teams from the dominions to complete their training in England, prior to going to Germany. The committee has announced it is p oposed to give grants to associations for four years totaling :—To British Amateur Athletic Association £16,000; the Irish Amateur Athletic Association £3,600; the Scottish A A.A. £I,OOO, the National Cyclists Association £2,730, the Gymnastic Association £1.945, wrestling £2,050, swimming £5.500, fencing £BOO.
The estimated cost of sending the five hun red athletes to Berlin a fortnigtit before the Games is £15.000.
