Mr Temple Whit*, who las for some years past been prominent in musical circles in Feilding was last il g H *S l .'E? d a far ewell concert by the Feilditfg Choral Society prior to Bis dt-partnre for Wellington. Mr Kichmond, \ ice-president stated tt at the presentation was for Mr White'* jncoessfßl, faithful and strenuoui >° Tt ? ?\ behalf of the Society, which had for eight years. The fact t-at no other towns between Wellington an Auckland could boast mt a society of s;ch coutinuou* nfe spoke well for the enthusiasm, energy and ability of Mr w ite.
