These tests, however, will be continued over the next three mout s, time being an important factor in arriving at a correct cstniate of tie working efficiency of a set auder all manner of conditions. If these te=ts prove to be satisfactory, the new station will be formally taken over from the Australian Wireless Company/ in November. New Zealani will then have a station capable of senlicg messages for a distance of 100 miles io the daytime, which should mean, under favourable c editions, a night radius of at least donble that distance.
