OSCAR WILDE CASE. Press Awn—By Telegraph—Copyright London, Apiil 22. In the libel action, Lord Alfred Douglas v. Dr Ransome and the Times Book Club, concerning allegations made against plaintiff concerning his culpability for Oscar Wilde : s downfall, a verdict was given for defendant. It was held the statements were libellous but true, and the Book Club had not been negligent.
