Speaking to me yesterday he said: "I am disappointed at finding, after the lapse of so many years, so much damage still being done to New Zealand meat by rough handling. I had the pleasure of interviewing this morning tbe Secretary of the Port of LbndOif Authority, and am exceedingly pleased to find from him strong evidences that they are determined to make a great improvement in the handling of frozen meat, through tne use of special conveyors, which will obviate much of the rough treatment to which meat has hiJherto been subjected.
