Several witnesses identified two suffragettes in Halloway prison as the perpetrators of the Engelfleld golf green outrage. A canister of gunpowder surrounded by inflammable material and burning candles was found in the Aberdeen railway station. It was supposed to have been placed there by suffragettes.
