(Applause.) Mr Fred. Pirani, ho believed, w T as not unknown in Palmerston. The Premier also spoke eulogistically of Palmerston's Mayor, Mr J. A. Nash, and commented on the pride which Mr Nash took in the development of this town. When it became Mr Buick's turn to retir* from politics he was sure it would afford the town great plea aire to welcome Mr Nasli as us member. (Loud applause.)
